Infoblox produces software and hardware solutions for network management. Infoblox systems are designed to provide utility-grade domain name resolution (DNS), IP address assignment and management (DHCP/IPAM), authentication and authorization (RADIUS), configuration (TFTP/HTTP), and network time (NTP). Infoblox solutions control and automate the core services that drive all networks and applications.
Infoblox NIOS software supports DNSSEC and using BIND 9.6.1, which includes support for NSEC3 and NSEC. NIOS uses an GUI tool to centerally configure and manage a DNS service for an enterprise. It also includes built in automation tools to ease DNSSEC management for tasks like re-signing, updating and key rollovers.
In addition to providing a line of software and hardware systems to manage an enterprise network, Infblox also provides a collection of tools to assist admins in monitoring the health of their networks (some of which are free and online). Infoblox also provides services to help enterprise networks including training for Infoblox administration. Like the tool offerings, this includes a free DNS Security library to keep administrator and users up to date on the latest news and developments in all aspects of DNS security.
Infobloxs currently has a delegation from dnsops.biz (infoblox.dnsops.biz) being served on Infoblox systems. In addition, NIST, IOActive, and Infoblox produced a webinar on DNSSEC available online. This was not an official SNIP training event, but a webinar that covers the threats to the DNS, DNSSEC, and an overview of Infoblox solutions.
Questions or comments should be sent to SNIP admins.
